New Logo: Same Great Hallmarks
By Lee Davis
What did your business cards look like 28 years ago? Mine were gold and royal blue with the name of a Florida car dealership on them (but that’s for a different post on a different day). I’m glad to say that my business cards have changed many times over the years, all for the better.
Twenty-eight years ago however, the original logo for San Jamar-Chef Revival was first put into service, and that same logo has been the company’s calling card ever since. Even after San Jamar acquired Chef Revival several years ago, it combined the names together but maintained its familiar multicolored nameplate. The logo has served them well.
In 2013, it’s time for a couple of changes. First, San Jamar-Chef Revival will return to its original name, simply “San Jamar.” (Chef Revival will be a flagship apparel line for the company.) Second, San Jamar will roll out a brand new logo.
The original logo has seen the company grow and expand from being makers of napkin and paper-roll dispensers to an industry leader and innovator in an ever-expanding category of safety and sanitation products for the foodservice industry. Let’s hope the new logo serves them well as they continue to grow and provide products that keep us all safer and healthier.
