Michael Kalajian, BFA Foodservice

Michael Kalajian was born and raised in New Jersey. He joined BFA Foodservice in July of 2007. "Although he has only been with BFA for a little more than a year, he has shown a tremendous thirst for knowledge that deserves to be recognized," says Meryl Finkelstein of BFA.

Michael, a professional chef, also has previous dealer experience. He joined BFA Foodservice so that he could become involved in a project, from planning to groundbreaking, and then following it through to the opening. His desire for this excitement and fulfillment is what turned him in this new direction and to BFA.

Meryl says Michael has found the training and literature offered through SEFA invaluable to his growth as a foodservice professional. The National Sales Conferences, Manufacturer and Rep Sales meetings, factory tours, attending various trade shows, and CAD classes have not only taught him well, but he has passed all of this knowledge onto his customers as well as his co-workers. His sales have grown tremendously in the past year and even more growth in the year ahead is anticipated.
