A Review of SEFA's 27th Annual Partnership Conference

SEFA traveled down to sunny Bonita Springs, FL for its 27th Annual Partnership conference, which was held at the beautiful Hyatt Regency, Coconut Point.

The week of networking and partnership kicked off with a tropical welcome dinner where guests were serenaded with the sweet sounds of south Florida by the Marc Vee Band, and feasted on an exquisite buffet dinner.

The following morning, Session 1 of rotations kicked off with a flurry of productive meetings between SEFA's great Dealers and Suppliers. Session 1 was capped off with exciting networking events showcasing the best of what the Gulf coast of Florida has to offer. A group of attendees went backwater fishing, experiencing the unique wildlife and reeling in a variety of fish. A second group of attendees played in the annual SEFA scramble golf tournament at the Raptor Bay Golf Course. Those who didn't fish or play golf attended the ever-popular SEFA pool party to cap off Session 1 and begin Session 2.

After a fun day of networking, the attendees got dressed up and walked down the red carpet into SEFA's Annual Awards Banquet. To kick off the banquet, SEFA recognized several past awards winners and industry legends including Jim Cullinane, formerly of Vulcan. After Jim addressed the audience, the awards started flying fast and furious. Top honor of the night went to Action Sales, which was named Dealer of the Year. The Manitowoc Foodservice Companies were named Supplier of the Year and John Ebenroth of True Foodservice was named Executive of the Year. All in all, it was a successful and productive conference for everyone involved.
