    Joyous Cream Scones

    • 3 cups all purpose flour
    • 3/4 tsp. salt
    • 8 Tbsp. sugar
    • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
    • 1 cup bacon, cooked, chopped
    • 2/3 cup Cheddar, shredded
    • 1/3 cup Chives, chopped
    • 2 cups heavy cream

    Mix and sift the dry ingredients. Add the bacon, cheddar, chives and heavy cream. Mix until just blended. Form into a 9" pie shape. Refrigerate or freeze to solidify. Cut the pie into 8 equal portions while frozen or very cold. Place on parchment paper on sheet pan. Bake in convection oven at 350° for about 20 minutes until browned. Cool, and cover.
